<p>Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) was established in 1998 at Hyderabad by an Act of Parliament as India’s national university for the promotion of Urdu language and education, offering programmes through Urdu medium with English and Hindi options.</p><p>MANUU is a Central University recognized by the UGC, with its teacher-education programmes approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
