Overview
Established in 1905 and often called the “Pusa Institute,” IARI is India’s premier agricultural research and education institute, functioning as a Deemed-to-be University under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
IARI is approved by ICAR and the UGC, and primarily offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes in agricultural sciences, alongside select undergraduate seats.
