Overview

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Kurnool was established in 2015 by the central government under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, mentored in its early years by IIITDM Kancheepuram. Its campus is at Jagannathagattu on the outskirts of Kurnool, in western Andhra Pradesh.

IIITDM Kurnool is an Institute of National Importance and, like the other IIITDMs, is fully funded by the Ministry of Education. B.Tech programmes include computer science, electronics and communication, and mechanical engineering, with a design and manufacturing focus. Hostels are provided for undergraduate students.

B.Tech seats are filled on JEE Main ranks through JoSAA counselling, with no home-state quota. As a centrally funded institute, its fees are lower than most PPP IIITs. Sign up free to see fees by quota, closing ranks and placement data.

Eligibility

Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics (plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a technical vocational subject) meeting the JoSAA 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top-20-percentile criterion, and a valid JEE Main rank.

Admission process

B.Tech seats are allotted through JoSAA counselling (and CSAB special rounds for vacant seats) on the all-India JEE Main rank; IIITs have no home-state quota.
