Overview
Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur (IIIT Manipur) was set up in 2015 under the public-private partnership model, with the central government, the Manipur government and industry partners as stakeholders. It has run from Imphal while its permanent campus is developed at Senapati, north of the capital.
IIIT Manipur is an Institute of National Importance under the IIIT (PPP) Act. B.Tech programmes are in computer science and electronics and communication engineering. Hostel arrangements are made for undergraduate students.
