Overview
Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam (IIIT Kottayam) was set up in 2015 under the public-private partnership model, with the central government, the Kerala government and industry partners as stakeholders. Its campus is at Valavoor near Pala in Kottayam district, in the hills of central Kerala.
IIIT Kottayam is an Institute of National Importance under the IIIT (PPP) Act. B.Tech programmes are in computer science, CSE with specialisations such as AI and data science and cyber security, and electronics and communication engineering. Hostels are provided for undergraduate students.
