Overview
Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur (IIIT Bhagalpur) was set up in 2017 under the public-private partnership model, with the central government, the Bihar government and industry partners as stakeholders. It is based in Bhagalpur, a city on the Ganga in eastern Bihar, and has operated from a temporary campus while its permanent campus is developed.
IIIT Bhagalpur is an Institute of National Importance under the IIIT (PPP) Act. B.Tech programmes are in computer science, electronics and communication, and mechatronics and automation engineering. Hostel arrangements are made for undergraduate students.
