Overview
Established in 1960, GBPUAT Pantnagar was India’s first agricultural university, set up on the land-grant model, and played a foundational role in modernising Indian agricultural education.
The university is recognised by ICAR and the UGC and offers programmes across agriculture, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, home science and basic sciences.
