Overview

<p>Banasthali Vidyapith was founded in 1935 near Tonk, Rajasthan, by Hiralal Shastri and Ratan Shastri as an institution dedicated to women’s education, and was declared a deemed-to-be university in 1983. It has grown into one of India’s largest fully residential women’s universities.</p><p>Banasthali Vidyapith is a Deemed-to-be University recognized by the UGC, with its engineering and management programmes approved by AICTE. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across engineering, science, humanities, management, law and education, exclusively for women students.</p><p>Admission is through the university’s own entrance test (Banasthali Vidyapith Admission Test) for most undergraduate programmes, along with merit and entrance-based routes for postgraduate courses. <em>Sign up free to see fees by quota, closing ranks and placement data.</em></p>
