Overview

JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), Bangalore was established in 1997 by the JSS Mahavidyapeetha. Its 21-acre campus is on Uttarahalli–Kengeri Main Road, Srinivasapura, in south-west Bangalore. (It is a separate institution from JSSATE Noida.)

JSSATE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), approved by AICTE and recognised by UGC under section 2(f). It holds an A+ grade from NAAC. Programmes include B.E. in several branches, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and Ph.D., and separate hostels are available for boys and girls.

Eligibility

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET, COMEDK UGET or JEE Main rank as applicable.

Admission process

Government-quota seats through KCET counselling (KEA), COMEDK-quota seats through COMEDK counselling, and some seats through JEE Main. Management-quota seats are handled by the college.
