Overview

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA (formerly YMCA University of Science and Technology) was established with origins tracing back to 1969 as a YMCA-run technical institute in Faridabad, before being granted state university status in 2009 and later renamed after physicist Jagadish Chandra Bose. The university is one of Haryana’s established state-run technical institutions in the Delhi-NCR region.

The university is UGC-recognised and its engineering programmes are AICTE-approved, offering B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering. The university holds NAAC accreditation and NBA accreditation for several branches, and its long history as a technical training institute has given it a solid legacy alumni network in the Delhi-NCR industrial and engineering sectors.

Admission to B.Tech programmes is through JEE Main scores followed by Haryana state counselling (HSTES).
