Overview

Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City (IIIT Sri City) was established in 2013 under the public-private partnership model, with the central government, the Andhra Pradesh government and Sri City as partners. Its campus sits inside the Sri City industrial township in Tirupati district, on the Andhra Pradesh–Tamil Nadu border, about 60 km north of Chennai.

IIIT Sri City is an Institute of National Importance under the IIIT (PPP) Act. B.Tech programmes are in computer science, AI and data science, and electronics and communication engineering. Being inside an industrial township with many multinational manufacturers gives it direct industry links. Hostels are provided for undergraduate students.

B.Tech seats are filled on JEE Main ranks through JoSAA counselling, with no home-state quota. Sign up free to see fees by quota, closing ranks and placement data.

Eligibility

Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics (plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a technical vocational subject) meeting the JoSAA 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top-20-percentile criterion, and a valid JEE Main rank.

Admission process

B.Tech seats are allotted through JoSAA counselling (and CSAB special rounds for vacant seats) on the all-India JEE Main rank; IIITs have no home-state quota.
