Overview
Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur was established in 2005 by the central government to combine IT with design and manufacturing. Its campus is on Dumna Airport Road in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, next to Jabalpur airport and set among green hills.
IIITDM Jabalpur is an Institute of National Importance and is fully funded by the Ministry of Education. B.Tech programmes include computer science, electronics and communication, mechanical and smart manufacturing, and it also offers a B.Des in product design. Hostels are provided for undergraduate students.
B.Tech and B.Des seats are filled on JEE Main ranks through JoSAA counselling, with no home-state quota. Eligibility
Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics (plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a technical vocational subject) meeting the JoSAA 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top-20-percentile criterion, and a valid JEE Main rank.
Admission process
B.Tech and B.Des seats are allotted through JoSAA counselling (and CSAB special rounds for vacant seats) on the all-India JEE Main rank; IIITs have no home-state quota.
