GGSIPU – University School of Information, Communication & Technology (USICT), Delhi

Overview

The University School of Information, Communication & Technology (USICT), earlier called the University School of Information Technology, was set up in 1999 by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It is located on the university’s main campus in Sector 16C, Dwarka, in South-West Delhi, and is the flagship engineering school run directly by the university rather than through an affiliated college.

USICT is a university school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), a state university of the Delhi Government; GGSIPU as a whole is placed in the 101–150 band of the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking. B.Tech branches are Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The school also offers M.Tech, MCA and PhD programmes, and hostels are available on the Dwarka campus.

B.Tech admission is based on the JEE Main rank through GGSIPU counselling, which is separate from JAC Delhi.
