Overview

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) began in 1983 as the Delhi Institute of Technology, was renamed Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in 1997 and became a university in 2018. Its fully residential main campus is on Azad Hind Fauj Marg in Sector 3, Dwarka, South-West Delhi. NSUT also runs an East Campus at Geeta Colony and a West Campus at Jaffarpur Kalan, both of which are part of the same university.

NSUT is a State university (degree-awarding) of the Delhi Government and is ranked No. 70 in the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking. B.Tech branches at Dwarka include Computer Science & Engineering (with AI and Data Science options), Information Technology (with Network & Information Security), Electronics & Communication (with VLSI), Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Mathematics & Computing, Mechanical and Biotechnology, while the East and West campuses add further B.Tech seats. Postgraduate and PhD programmes are offered, and the Dwarka campus has separate hostels for men and women.

B.Tech admission is through JEE Main, with seats at all three campuses allotted in JAC Delhi counselling. Check the campus named against each branch in the choice list, because Dwarka, East Campus and West Campus seats are listed separately. Eligibility

Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or an allowed optional subject) meeting JAC Delhi's minimum marks, and a valid JEE Main rank.

Admission process

B.Tech seats at the Dwarka, East and West campuses are allotted through JAC Delhi counselling on the JEE Main CRL, with separate Delhi-region and outside-Delhi lists.
