Overview

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is a private engineering college in Rohini, north-west Delhi, set up in 1999. Its campus stands in the institutional PSP area of Sector 22, Rohini, a planned residential sub-city with good road and metro links to the rest of Delhi. Over more than two decades MAIT has become one of the larger technical institutes in the capital, attracting engineering aspirants from across Delhi NCR and beyond.

MAIT is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and approved by AICTE, with NBA accreditation for select programmes. B.Tech branches include Computer Science & Engineering, CSE (AI & Machine Learning), Computer Science & Technology, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electronics (VLSI Design & Technology), Electrical & Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. The institute also runs BBA, MBA and an integrated BBA-MBA, and hostel accommodation is available.

B.Tech seats are filled on the basis of JEE Main through GGSIPU centralised counselling, with separate merit lists for Delhi-region and outside-Delhi candidates; lateral entry is also offered. Eligibility

Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics plus one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Computer Science, meeting GGSIPU's minimum aggregate and with English as a passed subject, and a valid JEE Main (Paper 1) rank.
