Overview
The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is a three- or four-year undergraduate degree focused on programming, databases, web development, networking and software applications. It is a popular alternative to B.Tech for students who want a software career.
Admission is after 12th (mathematics is often required or preferred) through merit, CUET-UG or a college’s own entrance test. Many BCA graduates go on to MCA or MBA, or start as software developers, testers and IT support professionals.
