Overview

Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology (VVIT) was established in 2009 by the Sri Vijaya Vittala Charitable and Education Trust. The campus is at Kothanur on the Hennur–Bagalur Main Road in north-east Bangalore, roughly 15 km from the city centre along the road that links Hennur with the international airport. The area has grown quickly with residential layouts and IT parks around Hennur, Thanisandra and Kothanur.

VVIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by AICTE. It offers B.E. programmes in Computer Science, Computer Science (AI & Machine Learning), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls, along with a library, laboratories, sports facilities and transport services for day scholars.

Eligibility

Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.

Admission process

Government-quota seats through KCET counselling (KEA, code E188) and COMEDK-quota seats through COMEDK counselling (code E205). Management-quota seats are handled by the college.
