Overview
The Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) is a four-year undergraduate programme, including a one-year internship, that trains professionals to assess and treat hearing, speech, language and swallowing disorders.
Graduates work in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, schools and private practice, and must register with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Admission is after 12th with science, usually through an institute-level entrance test.
