Overview
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), headquartered in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, traces its origins to the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University established in 2008, and was declared an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 2020, making it India’s first and only university dedicated entirely to forensic science and allied fields.
NFSU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across forensic science, behavioral science, cyber security, and criminology, operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, with a nationwide network of campuses.
