S.E.A. College of Engineering & Technology (SEACET) was established in 2007. The campus is at Ekta Nagar near Ayyappanagar Circle on Basavanapura Main Road, in the K.R. Puram area of east Bangalore. K.R. Puram is a major transit point on Old Madras Road with a railway station and metro connectivity, so the college is reachable for day scholars from Whitefield, Mahadevapura, Ramamurthy Nagar, Hoskote Road and the wider eastern suburbs.

SEACET is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade. Passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics, with at least 45% in these subjects (40% for eligible reserved categories), and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET rank as applicable.
