<p>Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) was established in 1998 at Prayagraj as Uttar Pradesh’s state open university, named after Purushottam Das Tandon, to widen access to higher education across the state through distance learning.</p><p>UPRTOU is a State Open University recognized by the UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB).
