Overview
The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal was established in 1982 by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, as the country’s premier institute for management education focused on forestry, natural resources and sustainability.
IIFM is an autonomous institute recognized as an Institution of National Importance, and its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management (PGDFM) is treated as equivalent to an MBA by the AICTE for recruitment purposes. The institute also runs an AICTE-approved MBA programme with a sustainability focus.
