Overview
Established in 1960 on the former Prabhat Studios campus, FTII Pune is India’s foremost film school, functioning as an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
FTII offers specialised diploma programmes in direction, cinematography, editing, sound recording and acting, and its diplomas are recognised as equivalent to a postgraduate degree.
