Overview
Established in 1889, IVRI Izatnagar is India’s oldest and foremost veterinary research institute, functioning as a Deemed-to-be University under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
IVRI is approved by ICAR, the UGC and the Veterinary Council of India (VCI), and primarily offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes in veterinary and animal sciences.
